The Song of the Winds.

Characters and objects represented. The four winds, North, South, East and West. Trees, flowers, grain, clouds, doors and windows. The ring can be formed into a square with open space at each end and sides. The centre is first the meadow, orchard, field of grain and then meadow again.
First Verse. Through the open space on the south comes the South Wind blowing softly with its mouth to make the grasses wave to and fro. It whispers to flowers in ring, nods to skv above, then goes to the tree and gently rocks the nest to and fro.
Second Verse.
From the opposite side comes the North Wind blowing noisily about, while pretending to knock the apples and nuts from the trees. Finally it knocks on the doors and windows in ring and then flies away.
Third Verse.
From the east, the East Wind now appears, pattering noisily about while shaking the sheaves of grain, washing the flowers and watering the earth.
Fourth Verse.
The West Wind comes cheerily in, smiling and gay, and drives away the clouds, who all run swiftly away at its approach.

Characters and objects represented. The wind, leaves, brook, lambs, snow and cricket.
The wind flies into the ring loudly calling the leaves, who as they hear his call leave the ring and flutter and dance about. They bid farewell to the cricket in corner of ring, to the lambs frisking about in the ring, or meadow, and then
